Climbing Course

Our rock climbing courses are aimed at a variety of levels but the core of our work is developing those who are looking to move from seconding to leading. We deliver a comprehensive course coaching leading on both single and multi pitch climbs including problem solving and escaping when things are not going to plan. Learning to lead is an area which needs careful instruction and as such we recommend that a day is spent seconding and looking at the fundamentals prior to taking on the sharp end.

Course Outline

We cover as much as we can according to the individual requirements and tailor the days to the requirements of those attending. The main areas that we cover are.

- Technique and movement

- Building anchors

- Natural protection placements

- Abseiling and retreating

- Belaying

- Equipment

- Guidebooks and route selection

As these are tailor made to individuals we dont have set dates on the calendar and so please get in touch for availability and to discuss your requirements.
