Rock Climbing Intro
Our rock taster sessions are aimed at those who would like to try rock, perhaps moving from indoors to outdoors. Also those looking for the ability to join others as a competent second. We cover a wide range of skills aimed at getting your moving on rock.
Course Outline
We cover as much as we can according to the individual requirements and skill level of those attending. The main areas that we cover are. We can also deliver these days to young people accompanied by their parents or guardians (dont worry the parent or guardian doesn't need to climb to and comes free)
- Knots such as tying in to the rope, tying into anchors
- Technique and movement
- Natural protection and its removal while seconding
- Abseiling safely
- Belaying
- Equipment
- Guidebooks, climbing grades and ethics

Course Details
Dates:
All of our climbing courses are tailor-made and run from 1 day to 5 days. Let us know what dates suit you best.
Fitness:
All mountain courses require a good level of fitness for big days in the mountains.
Equipment:
We email out a specific kit list for the course upon receipt of a booking form. We provide all the hardware and helmets and harness within your course cost.
As courses are tailor-made just about the course that interests you to find out more. Our day rate for Climbing is £250 per day for the first person and £20 per head thereafter, to a maximum group size of 2 clients to 1 instructor. Taster climbing is £200 for 1 with £20 per head thereafter to a ratio of 6 clients to 1 instructor. We offer a reduced rate for NHS workers, Armed Forces personnel and students.
